Our
"Block club simulation"
After being very popular at the official launch B.E. now offers its Block Club Simulation as a workshop!
This workshop helps participants understand, criticize and develop strategies for their individual neighborhood as well as the city at large. each participant takes a neighborhood and dissects the needs, wants and viability of the ever changing demographics of the City of Buffalo. Our simulation educates them on their specific public officials and their roles, as well as empowers them to take their concerns and strategies directly to their public officials.
We have conducted this workshop for The Buffalo Urban League Young Professional's Summer Social Justice Literacy workshops, Bryant & Stratton College and more.
If you are interested in booking B.E. to conduct this workshop please go to the CONTACT page to make a request!

Our "One Day summer camp"
@ letchworth state park
To expose our participants to various environments, activities and encourage team building, every summer we set aside one day (or weekend) to explore the great outdoors at Letchworth State Park in Castile, NY. We take our participants outside of the city and their comfort zones as they participate in activities such as white water rafting, canoeing, hiking, mediation by the waterfalls and MORE!

Our”ENTREPRENEURSHIP simulations & workshops”
We partner with local community organizations to bring financial literacy workshops to the public. Students create their own real businesses start to finish to provide hands on learning experiences and problem solve. Students also have the option to prepare for the workforce. We teach them how to convert their life skills into practical work skills for future jobs, internships and business ventures. Students learn fundamental business principles and prepare for networking opportunities.
We have conducted this workshop at the Jumpin’ Jumbalaya Summer Camp for 3 years and some of our participants have since officially opened their own businesses such as Libby’s Lemonade.
